On April 18, 2008, the membership of the Upstate NY Xterra Club voted and approved the merger of the club with the New England Xterra Club to form the North East Xterra Club (Nexterra).

NEXterra and UNYX have enjoyed a symbiotic relationship as sister clubs for several years now. As a combined club, they now have the ability to provide each member far more in benefits than they could individually contribute in time, money and / or resources. The new NEXTerra has the potential to become the largest Xterra club in the nation.

The North East Xterra Club will bear the name NEXterra, but will have updated branding and a new, unified website and forum ( http://www.nexterra.org ). As we continue to grow, we expect that we’ll be able to provide our supporting members and sponsors with the perks and benefits that have, until now, been a challenge offer.
