Well he announced it finally. Michael is quitting Ferrari at the end of the season. Quite a sad day for me, Michael being my favourite driver since Ayrton Senna died. Luckily I had the opportunity to meet both of them in my lifetime, plus had the opportunity to work closely with the Arrows F1 team several years ago on a project when I worked at Microprose.

I personally will miss watching one of my heros race, there really is no other F1 driver currently out there that is nearly as exciting as watching Schumi drive. I doubt I will be waking up at 4:30am next season to watch the European races live.
