He's some hilarious news for you guys. My wife woke up this morning to see this in the morning newspaper. I had to find the article online to share it.

Nice job, at least the injuries aren't too severe.

Only thing that disturbs me is the Firefighter with shorts on and a radio around his shoulder. I'd love to show that video to his chief and see what he thinks of it. It is completely wrong not to have long pants at an auto accident scene, no matter what the circumstances.

Sorry, after being a volly for 5 years that type of stuff pisses me off.

He probably way the chief and reported directly from his house. Either way I wouldn't say it's hilarious that two people got injured..interesting because it's an xterra maybe but def. not funny. [Too much XOC]

Not sure how it is in your neck of the woods, but volunteers in this area shwo up in what ever they are wearing if they are close to the scene.

If a trained responder is there to save my ass I don't care if hes in flip flops, tank top and a speedo. I don't want them taking the time to change before they come get me. However most vol responders I know have always carried all their stuff with them and will don the needed gear on arrival, usually only for fire fighting though.

Out here in the desert, the police and firefighters wear shorts - mostly in the summer when it regularly gets to 110-115 degrees.
