That's not entirely shocking, the 3/16 inch hex looks like a good idea, but I'd rather of had the Cap bolts or regular bolts. Either way, it's a simple trip to the harware store to change. I have quite a bit of hardware at home and will see what I can find when I pull it off to seal my drip, drip. The supplied hardware seems to be slightly larger than the size specified, but definately not metric.

BTW-I made sure to throw a 3/16 allen wrench into my metric toolbox.
