The shackles and shackle tabs took the brunt of the hit. I was was hitting the brakes hard when I hit so the nose of my trunk was going down when I hit him. Also the bumper bent a little by being pushed in from the tab. That is not big deal though, still looks good.

ETA:: I only had about 50-100 feet to accelerate, there is now way in hell that truck was doing 30.
