Steve's group had 3 broken axles up there last weekend, plus lots of other damage. A broken rear axle on an Xterra means "almost impossible to fix" on the trail.

Think of all the trouble you guys had on Golden Spike, then multiply that by 10 and throw in a bunch of sheet metal damage.
