FSR, we had one break on Monday, and it dawned on me that one of Energy Suspensions large bumpstops could be carried and bolted into place making for a bit smoother ride than a piece of wood (which there wasn't much of on SteelBender). They offer one that has multiple steps that can be cut to height.
