My main goal was to get everyone through the trail. Driving 90% of Golden Spike just to turn back at the crack was not an option.

Did we cheat ? Yes, but so did the dozen lifted Jeeps that had to be strapped across the crack.

The coolest thing we saw was a Volkswagen Vanagon Syncro. He got across the crack with the starter motor, 6 guys piled on his rear bumper and a bunch of damage.
