Here we go again with the SilverStar debate. They're $40 a pair and when one blows in 6 months or a year, you'll be buying another one, and another, and so on. So if it's worth $200 to you over 3 or 4 years to have light that is only marginally better than stock, go for it.

I had 'em for a year and that was my experience. When I switched back, I found that clean, properly aimed stock headlights are just as good for all practical purposes, i.e. the difference isn't worth the money. SilverStars are a waste.

Most who say they're SO much better than stock are influenced by wishful thinking. Nobody wants to drop $40 on bulbs just to find out the stock ones weren't that bad after all.
