i got a buddy of mine in virginia beach who's using his roommates H2 while he's on deployment. picked me up from the airport one day & i must say, he payed a ton of money for a whole lot of nothing. its just a large metal box that looks rugged, and thats about it. its not even a Humvee, it only looks like one. also, its not all that special or expensive [URL=http://auto.consumerguide.com/auto/new/reviews/full/index.cfm]consumer guide gives it a 2 out of 10 (to be fair they gave the xterra a 6 of 10). and while the my X might get less than sedan quality gas mileage, i've been rear ended w/ only minor bumper paint scrapes & bend and t-boned and only got body damage & front left wheel damage and nothing happened to me. Dbax got in a head on collision & nothing happened to his interior, him or his wife. as for either vehicle, well, the weight (all 6700 lbs you say for the H2?) will be supported by the roof which isnt designed for such a weight. physics takes over & occupants loose. i'm glad you found a vehicle that you like, but dont kid yourself dude, its looks.

BTW, this is a Humvee:
