I'm fully aware of what a Humvee is, and I would never in a million years want one, I prefer to drive in comfort, not have a turbodiesel sticking up between me and my passenger. And I don't know what this whole thing about ending up on the roof is about, this thing is so wide and heavy that I would think it would be pretty hard to end up on the roof. And as far as it being a big metal box, it's a big metal box that comes with one of the most advanced 4 wheel drive systems on the planet, 35" ATs from factory, over 10" of ground clearance, DVD players in the headrests, a navigation system, Bose premium sound system, heated leather seats front and back, and I'd take its looks over the Humvee, the 1st gen Xs, and just about any other capable 4x4 out there. So obviously you pay for what you get, but there's not really a whole lot out there that can get you more bang for the buck IMHO.
