so I installed a Gibson SS exhuast along with the K&N FIPK the other week. Everything runs great and it sounds good, however, there were no marking on the muffler to differentiate between inlet and outlet. I took a guess and mounted it with the gibson logo toward the ground. The reason I ask is that the exhuast is only marginally louder than stock. Furthermore, I would assume that there would be performance differances. Anyone out there that can educate me I would appreciate.
Note: I did send gibson an e-mail and they never responded.

I have the same exhaust and it isn't very loud. In fact I can barely tell the difference in tone from the stock exhaust. I get more noise from my intake than the exhaust.
