Not always the case, but usually true, the more chambers means the baffles are wrapped with more insulation than just a single straight through baffle design. But depending on the insulation packing material, a multichambered muffler can be loud as well. But in this case it looks like the Flowmaster50 is the one to go with. post up when you get it swapped, Id like to hear your experience,especially the droning
