I just bought a 2001 4x4 SE and I am looking to get a little more power out of it. I am as newbie as it gets when it comes to cars, but I have the engineering mind so I am not afraid to tinker around a bit.

I'm looking for a mod or two that will give a little boost in the horsepower but will not be too invasive nor too expensive. My checkbook is flexible, so I would be willing to spend around $200 and up to around $300-350 if the power boost is substantial. Any suggestions on a specific mod, and a specific brand/model?

Also, I found the Turbonator and was wondering if this would be of any help and if any of you guys have heard of it / use it.

You can add an intake and exhaust on your budget, and you will get a small but noticeable power bump. Search this forum and you'll find tons of opinion/advice.
