Well, you COULD pull into the garage and look for the low point, say where the handle pull is, etc...and just measure the distance from the truck's top at that point.
If its more than 1.5", you are golden for the PML.
$50 for the shackles...then just have them do the alignment again, but tell them to just leave 1/2" clearance on the upper bumpstop.
