if i were to put a 2" body lift on my xterra, and i have the arb with the shrock skid. will the skid plate still fit correctly? or will it sit to low with the frame horns? i've searched for this and can't seem to find any exact results. thanks for any help

I had to cut holes for the frame horns because of the 2" BL. However I was in a hurry for a trip I was going on. I will (I'm Lazy) remove it and cut the horn ends and either weld the cut out pieces back or get a new skid.I'd just trim the frame horns if done again.

As yet the horns sticking out have not hindered me a lot.

The frame horns and frame that the skids attach too remain the same...I have a 2" BL and Shrock bumper, a diff drop kit, and a full set of Skid-Row skids...and it all fits perfectly...except for the extra V shaped bracket I did to brace the horns against the torque of the winch...I cut out part of the front most S-R skid for the brace to pass through.

I don't have an ARB bumper though...does the Shrock skid for the ARB also attach to the bumper, or just the horns/rails?

I do believe the ARB with Shrocks skid does set higher than shrock and shrock but not sure.

However, I have no complaits the way it is now with the 2" BL
