If the ride is too wishy washy, the front end sags...that's when a thicker set of t-bars looks good....All t-bars are supposed to flex, they're springs after all, but too much twist for them to handle can get stressful.

The stock bars wear out over time, and need to be replaced periodically...if nothing else, that's a good time to upgrade as long as you need new bars anyway.

You can tighten the old ones up several times befor running out of adjustment travel, and they can be re-indexed/tightened a few times after that to maintain ride height.

Once that's all used up, you either go low rider, or spring for new springs.

If you are adding off road armor, winches, etc...I'd go 20% stiffer up front on shocks, and around 27 mm or so on the t-bars....the rears you might prefer 10% stiffer shocks, unless you are also doing a lot of cargo/carrier, etc.
