If anyone out there is planning on ordering spacers from Calmini, dont! Stick with upgrading your coil overs. To mount the spacer on top of the coilover it requires a special socket that's pretty uncommon. You'll need a 3/8" drive 17mm thin wall socket, so unless you have one lying around, dont buy Calmini spacers.

I agree with the don't buy Calmini thing, but doesn't that socket and driver come standard in most Craftsmen sets?

No, i spoke with a Craftsman rep and they dont even make one. You have to go with Snap-on or Matco to get one.

Why 3/8's?

If you don’t have a 17mm thin wall you can get those at just about any auto parts store. Used on lug nuts, both deep & regular sockets

$3.50 from tire rack, my gorilla wrench came with one like these:

Didn't have any problems with the Daystar Spacers (Different Design) install other than super tight lower Strut bolts. For those who still want an easy/cheap 2" or so lift.

Thanks for that link man, i already have one on the way. I couldn't find any thin wall sockets at the auto stores here. The people working there looked at me like i was making something up.

That usually means they don't know anything about tools or cars..don't take it as your wrong or crazy..I've learned that quite a few times.

This socket is really starting to irritate me. I ordered one of the link that xtoolbox gave me and it didnt fit. I gotta try and hunt one down, no shops around here have one.
