Every Automatic I've driven does this and so does my X. It does it if I don't give it enough gas to overcome the curb on my driveway and I "bounce" off it.
Well you live in a plains state, what would you know about hills anyway? Yes, every automatic will roll backwards slightly due to the incline, RPM's and the weight of the vehicle. The X is heavy, at 600 RPM's it is not producing enough torque to overcome it's own weight.[/b]
Ah, I may live in a flat, treeless wonder now, but I've lived all but the last three years in Central IL. I know, not much better but it at least had something other than red dust to look at.
