Doubtful. Replaced the auto transmission in our '02 in January 2004, with only 30K miles on it. It was a sporadic problem. It would start off fine, but invariably wouldn't shift into 2nd gear. If I pulled over, shut it off for a few minutes and restarted it, it was fine. But, after having it happen a few times, I took it in to the dealer and they gave me the report of, "You need a new transmission." Thankfully it was covered under warranty.
