I moved this out from another thread since it's a new subject of sorts - I'm interested in a doing 1.5" PML. The off-road shop/mechanic I am having do some work wondered if after turning the torsion bars to get the front up where we'd want it, would there be enough adjustment left in them to align the front end properly? Or is this not a concern on the X?

Thanks-

Shouldn't be a problem, leave about a finger's width between the rubber stopper and the A-arm.

Alignment shouldn't be an issue and if he's not comfortable with it, go to a shop that works with lifted trucks.

Yeah - the main reason the PML IS a 1.5" suspension lift is because the stock UCA's only allow alignment up to about a 1.5" lift.

The after markt UCA's do not provide any lift at all...their only function is really to just allow you to get an alignment at the 3" lift height. (Despite marketing claims some of them make as to length, lift, etc...)

If you leave 1/2" - 3/4" gap at the upper bumpstops, typically, that works out to the limit of adjustment/alignment (The upper bumpstops limit droop...so as you add lift...the gap shrinks...))
