I have one payment of $11k to make when I pick up my used X in a couple of weeks I try to avoid making car payments whenever possible...so usually I save for a couple of years here and there and just find one for cash. I hate the finance and dealer games...and have had plenty of experience with it to last me 5 lifetimes...so I like it better this way
