I dunno, Magma. Did VHS prices skyrocket after betamax was beaten into the ground?

One thing everyone forgets is that the elimination of HD-DVD doesn't eliminate competition at all. Blu ray DVDs still have to compete with other Blu ray DVDs for consumer dollars, and regular DVDs have already set something of a benchmark for what people are willing to pay for movies, TV show seasons, etc.

I'm just glad the format with more storage is winning. The more I can eventually cram onto a disk in terms of computer backup, the better.
