MS banned a bunch of users with modded firmware, but it seems they also may have banned a few innocent folks.

If you see the error mentioned in the above Blog entry by an MS employee (major@microsoft.com) then you're hosed and your xbox just became a paperweight with regards to online gaming!

Cheaters are a waste of space. I have a very low tolerance for cheaters and I'm glad to see they do too.

Not so much 'cheaters' just people who want to play copied games rather than buying originals. So 'thieves' might be more accurate.

As far as I'm concerned. Anyone who says they legally purchased every software title, movie and MP3 they own is a liar!

I was thinking in terms of Halo2 and games like that when people are playing with mods. Hopefully that means them too. And yes, I have purchased everything I've ran on my 360. Now my computer on the other hand...

Yeaa - anyone modding to cheat is lame. Modding to say "Fuck You Microsoft for your Overpriced games" is alright in my book!

That is a saying I learned from an SF Major I worked with and unlike you I dont play video games online because the demands of a normal working week and sex life dont leave much time for that....hehehehe!!!!!
