I am about to replace the fuel filer on the X and was ammazed when i saw how big a replacement filter actually is.. On the X is the fuel filter located near the gas lines by the gas tank? or is it near the engine??

It's underneath the truck, midway back. It has a metal shield around it. Don't forget to purge the pressure off the fuel lines before changeing or you'll get a facefull of gas. (which usually happens anyways)

it's on passenger side, right in front of the fuel tank. just need to reove the 10mm bolt that holds the filter to the shield then remove the other two 10mm's that hold the shield to the chassis. Then just need a phillips head to remove the hose clamps.
