checked out the search, nothing comes up...

any ideas...engine gets warm, either through driving or hot weather, the "engine" squeals upon startup...sometimes a long squeal or a short one. ive gotten answers that it was either one of the belts, or that there's "too much power when it starts." thoughts? bueller?

thanks!

Belts. At 100K miles, if the belts are original, it's about time to replace them anyway. If for no other reason than you only have another 5k miles before it's time to replace the timing belt.

$tart $aving money now.

Here in Alaksa we have a problem with belts squeelin all the time, grab a bar of soap, Zest works great, with the engine running hold the soap bar under the belt, in a few seconds the squeel is gone like magic

Check to see if the belt has become loose.
