Ok so i'll need to order that bracket from Crutchfield. Explaining it will be the hard part haha. Not sure what you mean by bend my fender out. When I think of a "spacer" I think of it adding to the overall mounting depth of the speaker. Maybe i'll google speaker spacers or something to get a better idea. Or do you mean on the inside where the cone is? So what i'm getting out of this is that a spacer makes it so the speaker bumps out a bit so that it has a bit more room to fit in to the space?
Do they make these or are they just fabbed at home?
