2002 will work.. I have one in my 2000. You have to just be careful when you hook up the wiring harness and you have to figure out what to do with the EGR sensor (mine is fixed to my exhaust manifolds so it can get a temp reading.

Side note. The SC engine will not work for lots of reasons.
