Anyone heard of this (or know what a solution may be)?
Every once in a while, the wireless on my laptop will mysteriously disable itself. Last night, I went to bed and I know that my wireless was working. When I woke up this morning, the laptop's wireless was disabled. The only way I could get it to reenable was to reboot the machine.
Mozy was running when I went to bed, but I don't know if that has anything to do with it or not.

Hmm, that's interesting. I had this exact problem on my laptop that came with Vista. I lived with it for over a month and couldn't take any more of it. I removed Vista and put XP Home on it and haven't had a problem since (been over a year now). Have you tried finding a different driver for your wireless card?

What's managing the wireless connection? Windows, or a 3rd party app related to the driver? Whichever it is, try the other.

"(Honestly, I don't remember why I switched to Windows in the first place.)"
hmmm I had a bit of deja vu when I posted above about switching management utils. I wonder if you switched last year as a result of basically the same advice being given to fix a different problem? That would be kinda funny(but still valid to to try).

Did you check with Dell? I think I remember hearing about a similar issue with the D630's
