I have searched around and there are a few mentions of people looking into a SYE, two-piece rear shaft with double cardan joints. cool

but no pictures and no comments about after it was installed. frown

So my question is has anyone done it and if so can you provide a picture or two...

I have talked to Tom Wood and started to work out details.

My concern is that once my rear can flex more I will be hitting the gas tank cross member.

Which is right below the rear output of the t-case... my thought were to have a SYE built with a 4" inch extension on it to move the mounting point of the shaft back.

This will cause the drive line angles to become more aggressive but tom said he can build the shaft to support that.

I know that some people with the revolvers ran into issue with the driveshaft hitting the cross member.

My other option is to cut the cross member and rebuild it over the shaft.

Also if this works out, would anyone else be interested? quantity will drive the cost down??? cool
