It is supposed to be offered in Manual Trans according to the Nissan site. That would also be my choice if I had the $$$ for an 05.

Check out the 05 forum...

And to answer your question, yes Nissan is producing Offroads with the 6 spd manual and I think there is actually a member on here that has one...

Route 22 Nissan in New Jersey. They have a Granite Off Road in a 6spd and a Solar S version as well. Nice guys, but kinda pushy on the sale. Turned me off. In any case, I'm trying to sell my car privately before I buy my X. They were only giving me $8500 on a 2002 Maxima. Sheesh....I can sell it for $12k-$14k on eBay no less.

We all know that dealers tend to make their $money$ on the used stuff, especially when you're selling the new stuff at or below invoice.

The problem with getting an Off Road 6-speed right now is that it will not have VDC. According to the Nissan web sites, they will not begin producing 6-speeds with VDC until April.

If anyone sees one that has VDC, I'd like to know.

I was afraid that the auto would be a slushbox and just make the V6 feel sluggish, which in no way it did. Also I didnt like the feel of the clutch. It was to vague feeling, I guess I'm just used to german manual tranys. Just my opinion.

I have yet to test drive the MT, however I'm ready to move back to AT. I also found the X's AT to be more than adequate.
