I have an '06 OR on order, should be here in January. One thing I've noticed on the '05/06 is they have changed the rear turn signal lens to red. I prefer the amber lens of the earlier X's, I think it's safer, and I know in some countries amber is required. I've searched the forums and came up empty on this topic. Has anyone seen tail light housings with the amber lens? Maybe in Canada or some where?

No one out there is making anything like that as of yet. I've already looked but not for what you are looking for. I backed my '05 into a pole that I didn't even see as it was perfectly lined up with the driver's side corner of the bumper. Needless to say that it bent the side of the bumper in and forced the step part to come away from the rest of the bumper. I was able to kick it back into place since a couple of the plastic tabs got broke off.

It cracked the lens so I went to the auto parts places and because the '05 is still to new you can only get replacement parts from the dealer. Well, you can't order the lens by itself instead you have to spend $165 before taxes, shipping, etc to buy the entire assembly which includes the assembly, all the lights, and the wiring harness. So just be careful when backing. I went and bought that red lens repair tape and threw it on there and re-installed the light that got vibrated out.
