I read the user manual today and found something interesting.
In the section 6-2 (page 192 on pdf file), it says

"the system also displays pressure of all tires (except the spare tire) on the display
screen by sending a signal from a sensor that is
installed in each wheel."

I don't know it is a typo or what. But I am sure
mine cannot display the pressure on the display screen. At least not on an 05 model.

BTW, Is there any way to install an additional receiver to show the actual pressure?

Same paragraph:

Your 05 doesn't have that option. Think it might be available on the Pathfinder. I'm surprised someone hasn't come out with a hack yet to tap into that receiver. Maybe a script written for a PDA?...

I haven't picked up my '06 OR yet (it's ready on Tuesday) so I haven't been able to check... but in the manual this has been cut and pasted:

You can also check the pressure of all tires
(except the spare tire) on the display screen.
The order of the tire pressure figures displayed
on the screen does not correspond
with the actual order of the tire position. See
“Tire pressure information” in the “Display
screen, heater, air conditioner and audio
systems” section. (pretty much as the first poster posted)

There is no "if equipped" at the begining of the paragraph.

If your 06 has it, that's the first mention I've read about it.

I have the 05 SE, with all the electronics bells -n- whistles not available on the other models... and mine doesn't have it.

If you discover yours does, or someone else with an 06 chimes in, I'd be curious if they did add it.

All I have on my '06 is the dash light if one gets low. No display unless they hid it real well (or I'm blind, which is entirely possible).
