No one said it was due to inflation. They were just saying, compared to the cost of things that have experienced inflation, the cost of gas is still relatively cheap.

The increased gas prices has to do with a lot of things. A major one being the fact that they did not re-build the refineries that were destroyed after hurricane Katrina. We are now importing gas that has all ready been processed. Crude oil per barrel prices are not at historic highs. The oil companies are making record profits. And we can still afford the gas.

You can't or don't want to, that's your own decision. We don't care what you drive.
