First of all, let me get my flame suit on. Second, this is not my Xterra. Anyways, here's a pic of the new Xterra with I think 20" rims on it, chrome step rails, chrome tail light guard, and a front bully bar. I kinda like it, but would not personally do it. Everyone's entitled to their own opinions. I am assuming that this will get flamed.

I'm going to defer any and all comments to someone else. I'm too much in shock and too drunk to come up with something clever right now. Oh...and not your Xterra, right? Riiiight...

I know there is one here in AZ too, as it passed me on the freeway doing about 100mph - Wheels blinging in the sunshine. I was like WTF did they do! Looks like it had been lowered too.

Now don't get me wrong, I would never have such wheels but to me the black and chorome wheels actually look pretty good.

I like the ghetto-azzed apartment project that one in the top photo is parked in front of.

Ba-BLING!
If they were on a car, I do like the black and chrome wheels.
20's are big enough to clear. So saddly, yes, 20's will fit, most 16's will not.

I like the clean look of the painted bumpers, grill, and the badge removal. Probably not the most practical for off roading and such, but looks pretty slick, especially in the Super Black color.

I was thinking of going with no more than 18's with a deep dish look. This is the first forum that I've joined that was entirely into the country stlyle truckin' look and style. If I knew owning and driving a vehicle that took me any where during camping and snow storms so easily was so much fun, I would have left drag racing imports long ago. Any way even the porsche cayene has 19" rims and don't front, it can still hang offroad and play on the streets/ curves etc. I haven't spoken on this forum cause you guys kill others with city styles. But honestly, The only offroading I do is hop over a curb in N.Y.C or go on the beach or extreme is..... a snow storm. After getting stuck in last years snow, I said I'm getting a 4x4 vehicle that is hard core. So I did. However being in N.Y.C ,you wanna go with whats in style so give us guys a break. at least we're in the same camp! Any way still is stock shoes but custom intake similar to afe way before them with a dremel and jim wolf pop. and 2nd guy with gibson exhaust with a 3a racing resonated tip to make it even quieter same size id od. and 4 pc.SS grill with angel eye fog lights and white lights all over leds etc. Don't hate please. Have a new magnaflow muff for sale.

i really like the black and chrome rims. very classy and agressive look. i also like the painted front bunper.
redman, i know what you mean about the city style, i used to live just outside NYC. and if i still lived there and never planned on going OR that is probably what my X would look like. not only does it look sweet, but the X barely fits into parking garages now, where the hell would you park in NY with a 5in lift and 33s. i am completely against lowering though, no point in having an suv without 4wheel drive. you may want to hang onto your stock rims and tires for the occasional weekend 4wheel trip. the beaches of long island are some of the only beaches that still allow 4xin' in the norhteast. sand dunes can be just as much fun as mud. do what you want to your truck, it's a form of self expression. you should customize your vehicle to fit your needs and reflect your taste.

I dont offroad but i did get teh 4X4 because i dont want to get stuck in heavy snow when i go bearding.

I do have to say that those X's are pretty nice looking. These mods really did not go well with previous Xterras. But on the new Generation it looks sweet. I don't like the new Pathfinder that much, and the Armada is too big for the city. So, doing something like this to the X, is the next best thing. I would opt for beefier tires though. After all it is an Suv. But its not an Escalade. So no need for oversized rims and no tire thread. 19 inch and beefy tires would do just fine. Trucks look great though.

Since I live in NYC, I don't see myself going offroad except for the occasional roadtrips where I need to bring luggage/people. I would do 18" wheels. I wouldn't do the painted bumpers. They look good, but they would get all dinged up with the lousy parkers in NYC.
