Going shopping Saturday for a new OR with the RF stereo.
I know that there aren't any major changes for 06 but what are the minor changes? I know locking glove box is one. What else is there? There must be more I can't seem to find any detailed info.

Right now I'm leaning towards the 06 in the hopes that most of the QA problems in the early 05s have been taken care of..

The 05s really don't have that many issues...

VDC is standard on all models for 2006.

The later '05 had it standard as well.

Think I read the 06 comes with ventilated discs. Not that the 05 had any braking issues.

The 05 is a great rig. No real complaints. The minor issues I have with it (too much plastic front/rear) are easily solved by the aftermarket. I got a rebate on mine, and the deals are even better if you can find a new 05 now.

A metal lock on a plastic glovebox wouldn't be a reason to me to buy an 06. The fact an 05 will be a year old in a month, is.

i think the 06 OR comes with a charcoal interior color.

Well...I did it. Just got home with an 06 Night Armor manual tranny with the RF stereo. The wife loves it and I have to say I do too. Decided on the 06 because there is only one 05 MT in the state that I know of and the wife really likes to work a stick.

Gonna put it to the test in the snow tomorrow and put the sliders on order...
