RI Xterra, zuzuman03-thanks for the little wavy dudes or dud'ets. A Guinness to you both. Cheers.
RedX-thanks for the well wishes. She is into her 4th week, responding well to the medications. Loosing her hair. She may be bald like me. LOL. We have 6 months to go. Cheers.
Pepper Dash-from Hyman Hill, NJ to Alaska. That's a bigger move then me. Margate NJ to Carson City (Dayton) NV. Do I miss NJ. NOPE. Don't want to get down on Jersey, but I have had enough of Jersey. Lived 40 years 200 yards from the beech. Now I'm in the mountains, rediscovering my inner child. So what part of Alaska? And cheers.
Bios-what up. I knew you would be one of the first to post on my re-entry to XOC. Been a rough, very rough 3 months. My wife has Systemic Lupus. Or uncle Lupy as we call him...or her. She has been in remission for 10 years. No meds. During that time. We were told, no kids. Had two. We were told that you could never conceive, we did. Basically told our life (my wife's) life would suck. For 10 years it didn't. Then the move out West, new job, my hairy ass, and then the mod bug knocked the shit out of her. She got laid out but didn't know what hit her. The Lupus, is a autoimmune disorder. Makes the body think there is something in there that shouldn't be-then attacks it. In my wife's case, the Lupus attacked her kidneys. She now has stage 4 kidney disease. One step away from dialysis, 1 1/2 steps away from kidney failure and death (or transplant waiting list). So the 6 month treatment is to get her immune system to take a bong hit and chill. She is actually doing pretty good emotionally, OK physically. I'm the one who is taking a big dump. Hence her motivation to get the new skins for the X. She wants me to enjoy myself as we get through this. Thanks for posting and cheers.
