chrisf4i - your right about the Hills Have Eyes thing. Being the son of a doctor, growing up there, in NJ-were two things I was not allowed to be exposed to. Guns and motor-cycles. Out here, you need both. Guns-b/c you are literally out in the middle of no where. I have been told, not experienced this-that Northern Nevada is the crack capitol of the world and that there are crack manufacture houses (mobile homes) out on the BLM. I was told that "you could run into somebody who does not want to be found." Many people have told me this and my wife and I are reluctantly looking into a hand gun. Also-lions, and tigers and bears. Not really. But some mean critters and we off road with our young-ins and K-9 kids as well. I say reluctantly b/c we have a 2 and 4 y/o. Motorcycles-way cheaper to run and mod then the X. Way better on gas. I want a KLM 950/990 Adventure. The Shoebe thing. Living in Atlantic City, actually Margate-we would call tourist from PA, mainly Philadelphia-Shoebees. In the early 1900's, Atlantic City was the "Jewel of the Atlantic." Before cars, folks traveled from NYC and Phial, all points in-between via rail road. They would come to the "Jersey Shore" with their lunches packed in a shoe box. Hence Shoebees. Got it? You will be quizzed tomorrow. Cheers. [drink]
