I've noticed recently that I have a receeding hairline as well, but I don't let it bother me.
I've been buzzing on #0 (no attachment, just straight clipper) my head at home for the last 5 years (I'm 31) and the thought of having to actually style my hair makes me laugh...
So, I am one of the convict looking ones I guess.
I also sport a goatee (chin only), but I never thought about it balancing out my lack of hair on top, I just grew it when I was 18 and never bothered to shave it off. Besides, I live in Canada, so it keeps my chin warm when it's cold out!
As for other peoples opinions, I don't care what anyone thinks about it my hair. I know who my friends are, and I can take some ribbing if someone feels the need to take out their insecurities on me. I know that someone trying to put ME down is merely them trying to deflect critisims off of them.
I think the part that irks me the most about guys who are loosing their hair, isn't the actual loss, it's what they do to attempt to cover it up.
Case in point: Donald Trump? Come on buddy, your HAIR should be fired!
So, be happy with who you are, not who your hair is. Society today puts WAY too much empasis on how we look on the outside, as opposed to who we are on the INSIDE.
It's who you are that I would care about, not what you look like.
So, come on over and have a beer with the rest of us BOXC'ers!
