Anonymous Unregistered	http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/10/10/wisconsin.shooting/index.html Is it weird to anyone else that the Wisconsin Shooter dude managed to shoot himself 3 times in the head? That's like saying he shot himself in the back.

Anonymous Unregistered	I have a Glock .40 and figure after one shot under the chin, I'd be in no fit state to further shoot myself twice more. Even if the 1st shot missed my brain.

Samueul Member Registered: 10/04/01 Posts: 4114 Loc: Pittsburgh, PA. USA	Shooting yourself in the chin is the worst way to attempt suicide by a headshot. You need the temple, always the least path of resistance. There is too much bone in the jaw to get a 100% reliable kill shot, plus you're moving away from your objective by a good 5", whereas the temple is about an 1.5" before your into brain.... _________________________ Must stay away from political/religious debates. Anonymous Unregistered	Saw one of those ER kinda shows on TV once where the guy tried killing himself and put the gun to the side of his head. The bullet went straight through taking out both optical nerves but totally missed his brain. So he blinded himself and was out of hospital within a week. Crazy how people can fuck up that kinda thing. But 3 shots to your own head - I don't buy it. One of the family members of the kids he shot got there first I figure, or at least after he fired the 1st shot himself.
