A cop friend of mine had bricks under his TV.

Because his wife (before DVD) bought a new in the box VCR from a guy in a parking lot. He had a real one on display and a sealed box.

Dummy bought it and when she got home found out that the VCR in the box was actually bricks.

My friend made her put them under the TV where a VCR would go....
