I usually pay a few hundred so I haven't received a return via dd in a long time. We have some mail thieves in our hood AND Walmart announced they'd cash these checks for free. What are the chances they'll be checking ID? :rolleyes:
The government announcing checks and dates like that makes it a regular buffet for thieves that run through yuppie neighborhoods like mine where everyone works from 9-5, mostly.
About a week ago, the F-ers took a birthday card out of my neighbor's mailbox, opened it, took the $20 from Gramma to her grandson and left the opened card and the paper from the envelope behind. Nice, huh? Our post office was like, "uh yea, we've had some reports like that lately."
DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!
Thats the one nice thing about community mailboxes. Gotta havea key to get in your mail box.
