You know , under the badge and the uniform he's a guy just like you are. He's not superhuman and you shouldn't treat him any differently than if he were a used car salesman when you have a relationship with him outside official police business. If he's a prick and you think he'sa prick and he does prick things that you wouldn't let the local used car salesman do , then tell him you don't appreciate whatever he's doing that's pissing you off.
Make it clear to him that you/your wife are doing him and his girl a favor and instead of feeling like you are being taken advantage of he might show a little appreciation by keeping his car off your lawn. There is such a thing as diplomacy and you can convey your thoughs without being confrontational.
Unless you live in Hazard there are strict reprocutions for an officer using his authority as a public servant to intentionally cause harm on an individual. It's not 1950 and you're not in Alabama. If for some reason he uses his position to somehow make your life difficult as a result of your conversation with him it could mean his job and he knows that.
