I usually prefer to go out in the desert, but Usury Mtn range on Ellsworth is a nice little range to go to, and they've got a good clay pigeon flinger...I've got a couple hundred clays in my garage and a couple hundred rounds of 12 guage too, for any of you scatter gun types.
...I will need info on this place you speak of since I will be living down in your neck of the woods now...I love busting clays, and I have a few hundred rounds of shotty shells too![/b]Take Ellsworth Road north to the opposite side of the Bulldog Canyon entrance...the range is on the west side of the road out by Usury Pass. Nice little range. Last time I was there (4-5 years ago) it was like $5 to shoot there as long as you wanted.
They're anal about observing range rules, but that just keeps everyone safe. You also have to have hearing and eye protection.
