Looking into buying a Harley but still undecided between a Dyna or a softtail. Looking for rcommendations and opinions.

Nice bikes, used to own one. I just rode my dream bike "07 fatboy" and compared to my Honda VTX1300 it's a waste of 10k in my opinion. I was shocked that a bike that weighed the same and had 400 more CC's was a complete dog compared to my VTX1300. Nice bike, but after test riding a few of the big twins, I can't justify spending that kind of scratch for them....

Have you looked at the VTX1800F? Awesome bike, and still a couple grand less than any of the dyna's and softails. 100+ horses don't hurt either.

Ditto. My father in-law purchased one a year ago and loves it. Rides much better then the fat boy.

If I were going to buy a bike I'd specifically avoid Harley just because they're so damn trendy.

Buy the kind that isn't obnoxiously noisy.
