Regarding food stamps..... A soldiers salary in some states does qualify for food stamps. It also depends on things like number of dependents, etc.

Another thing regarding food stamps..... Haven't we all seen people in the supermarket paying with food stamps who were wearing expensive clothes, then loaded their groceries into an expensive car.

Our system is loaded with fraud and abuse.
