It's true, and while I can tell you from experience it's a lot easier to say it than to live it, it's something to hang your hat on. All we have is this moment and the future, so make the most of it and try to be happy that she didn't waste one more moment of your life if her heart wasn't in it.

You're off to a good start, keep it rolling and use this opportunity to deepen the ties between you and your son. His way of handling this kind of experience will largely come from how you do it now, so stay positive and balanced and show him how a man acts when the chips are down.
