From all accounts he has one of the most consistent voting records in politics so I'm not sure how you come to the conclusion that he is "erratic" but I agree that the "truthers" etc. aren't helping his cause. I like a lot of what the man says. I like a lot of what Obama says, and several others... Long as it's not Clinton or Guilani.. I can't stand those two. I cringe thinking about either as president.
I also have to ask, though I don't consider myself a dyed in the wool Ron Paul Supporter (I think we could do worse), do you actually know any first hand? I'd wager I'm the closest thing you got? Read a lot of my past posts on various subjects and tell me honestly if you think I'm a "nutjob"?
I think every politician has their "loony" groups. I don't think it's just Paul, hell the NRA is rife with nutjobs and they are one of the biggest special interest groups out there...
