 Just got my connection going. Speedtest.net shows 15567 up and 1987 down. Downloaded an 800mb file from the net in less than 5 minutes. Loving it! Beats the hell out of Comcast.

Oops, reverse my ups and downs. Best we can get in our area with cable is about 6000 down, 512 up.

Bellsouth (now the new at&t) DSL - 1518 down, 249 up. About what they advertised I should get, given my plan.

MGJ If my purchased bandwidth is 15/2 how's a piece of software going to tweak anything past that?

Nike. Just do it. You're opening up the pipe to accept more... it just does. Don't know many it hasn't helped..... did I mention it was FREE?

MGJ I could see if I wasn't getting my advertised speed, and Fudging with the mtu and rwin etc. would help, but I've yet to see any adjustment get you over your advertised speeds by any significant amount. Oh well, I guess mileage will vary.

Repeat: 19468 down, and 1960 up.
Without: 13474 down and 1859 up.
Ok to be honest, I find it hard to believe myself... Also, I re-enabled DRTCPIP and ran the test again....
With: 18786 down and 1946 up..... hmmmm.
Admittedly, I'm intrigued... Upload barely changed, heck I wait 5 minutes and it'll change....
I have Cable, no levels to purchase either, just HOME or BUSINESS. Thats it.
