Looks like KITT got a facelift for the upcomming new series. 550 HP Ford Shelby GT500KR Mustang.

Reminds me of a certain new transformer.

Looking good... as long as the show doesn't suck like Team Knight Rider...

Making a new series only tarnishes the image and memory of the original. All of the TV movie have sucked. Just leave well enough alone, people. If they're going to do another series, they should make it as kitschy and 80's as possible. Big hair, gay-sounding car computer, super-tight banana-hammock designer jeans, and of course, the Hoff. That might be worth an hour or two of couch-sitting.

I'd rather see the Mustang in the remake of Bullitt.

If the new Camaro is coming out (Bumblebee), that usually means the Trans Am is as well. If so, I wonder why they went with the Shelby?

My guess is the Trans Am (Firebird) isn't going to come along for the ride.

I imagine the windshield replacement on that would be a real bitch - plus v.expensive.

I think it looks f.ugly.

A few guys I work with have subtly modded GTs, which are quite nice.

That orange thing is butt ugly. It looks like the bean counters said, "hey, we better add some touches of the new Camaro and Challenger to the Mustang."

Time to dig this thread up since the movie premiered last Sunday night.

While initially I didn't have big expectations for this, I actually liked the movie a lot! I loved KITT's ability to transform into different versions of the mustang. The only thing I didn't like was the whole hacking into his system part... I could have done without that.

Now I just wonder if KR will turn into a series. The ending definately leaves the door wide open for it.
